Dear Brian and family,
I hope you know how fond Doug is of each of you. You have opened your home and hearts to him, often including him in family activities and camping trips. He’s looking forward to rooming with Colin at ESU this fall.
Brian, I know I don’t have to tell you how blessed you are to have such a close and loving family. Clearly, you have many friends and extended family who will support and surround you in countless ways as you recover. When I inquire about your spirits, Doug tells me, “Brian cannot be kept down. That’s just not who he is.” So, while I know it’s only normal and natural that you may feel frustrated or overwhelmed at times, It’s good to know you have such strength and depth of character. Our positive thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you heal.

Hey there Brian, Dawn and Steve,
I just wanted to let you know that we here at Hershey Med Neuro ICU are pulling and praying for you, Brian. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your initial care. That was such a great and inspiring story in the Patriot last Sunday. We wish you all the best at McGee, and please come back and visit when you return home.
